Our Story

luviance.org was founded in 2020 with a clear vision: to create a dedicated space where adults aged 40-60 could engage in intellectually stimulating and socially rewarding activities. We recognized a gap in the market for events that catered specifically to the interests and preferences of mature audiences who sought more than typical entertainment offerings.

Our journey began with a simple book club meeting in Jamestown, Northern Ireland. The overwhelming positive response from attendees inspired us to expand our offerings to include investigation nights, tasting evenings, strategic game tournaments, and much more. Today, we proudly organize over 50 events annually, bringing together hundreds of like-minded individuals.

What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to quality over quantity. We carefully curate each event, ensuring that every detail contributes to an exceptional experience. From selecting the perfect venue to choosing thought-provoking discussion topics, we leave nothing to chance.

Why We Do What We Do

Combat Social Isolation

As people enter their 40s and beyond, maintaining active social lives can become challenging. We provide regular opportunities for genuine connection.

Celebrate Maturity

We believe that life after 40 should be celebrated, not endured. Our events honor the experience and wisdom that comes with age.

Stimulate Growth

Learning and personal development should never stop. Our activities challenge participants intellectually while remaining enjoyable.

Build Community

We create spaces where lasting friendships form and supportive networks develop naturally through shared interests.

Our Commitment to Excellence

Every event we organize undergoes rigorous planning and quality control. We survey our members regularly to ensure we continue meeting and exceeding expectations. Our commitment extends beyond the events themselves to creating an overall experience that respects your time, intelligence, and desire for meaningful engagement.

We maintain small group sizes to ensure quality interactions, carefully select venues that provide comfortable and appropriate atmospheres, and continuously innovate our event offerings based on member feedback and emerging interests within our community.
